I mailed out my RPM 2015 Submission just before the deadline at 12pm this afternoon. I’m really psyched that it came together. Not all of the tracks are gems and everything is pretty rough around the edges… but I had a lot of fun along with the frustration, self loathing, etc. It was especially fun working friends. Noplay Glancy of “The Sound Down Cellar” (a band I play bass in) helped out on drums and some other goofing around. And Johnny Berosh previously of “The Strangemen” banged out some one take wonders on the punk tracks including one about a coworker of ours. Both of them put down solid material which was very fun to work on top of. I have the album up on Alonetone along with older stuff. Their interface isn’t the best, so I’m also including a flash version hosted locally as well as a link to Dropbox to download the “old fashioned” way. I really feel like I learned a lot doing this, so I hope it won’t be another three years before I try again. Right now I have a hankering to try recording a few covers, so hopefully that will be showing up here soon. And of course, it’s about time to tackle more synth stuff.
