All of these were done in a little blue gridded vellum notebook I carry around. Most were done while working at a music venue (I rarely draw at home). I like Clearprint paper a lot. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun to work with using pen or pencil and there’s something cool about drawing on a grid. Plus it’s made here in Massachusetts and has been for a long time. After scanning it’s not too hard to remove the blue lines from the drawing, although the process results in some loss of contrast which can make the drawing look a little harsh and you can sometimes still see faint lines.
